Abstract
The students of the 1st Kindergarten of Atalanti, in the framework of the educational program “The imprint of 1821 in my homeland” of the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Central Greece, visited and learned about the landmarks of their city, as well as the people who had an active role in the 1821 Revolution, and incorporated all the above into their activities. They also got acquainted with local costumes and weapons, heirlooms from a private collection and other information from the Aiantios Public Library of Atalanti. Finally, they created their own puppet show based on the data they collected during the program.
