1821 in academia

How did the academic community mark the bicentenary of the 1821 Revolution? What directions and themes did academic research, and more specifically historiography, take in view of this important commemoration? Our goal is to record the academic conferences, lectures and discussions, but also the publishing activity of academics, occasioned by the bicentenary both domestically and abroad. Thus we aspire to identify the modern historiographical trends in relation to the revolution in order to answer the above questions.
